Paris 6

Paris, September 23rd

sunny 18 °C

We finally managed to get up early so we went for breakfast at the restaurant opposite us called Café Beauvau. We just got a quick coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and croissant but we didn’t eat too much because we wanted to save ourselves for a fancy lunch.

Then we went to Musée Rodin. We saw “The Thinker” in the garden and many other statues and paintings. We saw some more beautiful Van Gogh’s paintings. We also admired the beautiful garden full of roses and hedges.

We met up with Nat’s family for lunch. We were all so excited because we were going to a 3 Michelin stars restaurant called L’ Astrance. At the restaurant they had food combinations you would never think of but they were really good. We had 5 courses plus entrée, palate cleansers and dessert. The food looked like art work. They were too beautiful to eat!

On the way back, we passed the Eiffel Tower. Nat and I went on a merry-go-round. After we went to a big fountain just in front of the Eiffel Tower. The water splash was so big you could feel it on the other side of the road!

In the evening we went for a walk to see Paris at night.
