Warsaw 1

Warsaw 1st September

semi-overcast 20 °C

We left our hotel in Dubai at 4:30am. We ordered breakfast and it came to our room at 3:00am! The plane left at 7:00 and it took 6 hours to get from Dubai to Warsaw. We arrived at 11am Warsaw time. Our apartment is in the old town and has 2 bedrooms it is literally 1 minute walk to the old town square. We had a really early dinner at 5:00 local time and were the only ones in the restaurant. We had traditional Polish food: pork with plum, roast duck with red cabbage and beetroot puree and my dad had chanterelle mushrooms....fresh from the forest! On the way to the restaurant we saw an old lady selling dolls. They were really cute and I got one and called her Zytha which is Polish for 'rose'.
